Yes, you’ve all been waiting for it and it’s coming. Development to transition from AMBackup 2.0 to AM Software Backup 3.0 will begin as soon as finals are over. So, what’s so special about it? Why would you use it over a premium product?

• Redesigned interface (think 3-4 screen wizard)
• CD and DVD Writing support for your data
• FTP Backup (upload backed up data to ftp rather than copying to a folder)
• Incremental/Warm Backup (Updates backed up files in the background with no user intervention)
• Warm Backup + FTP Backup

The last two will take a bit more time to get into Backup. I’ll probably implement vanilla FTP backup and CD writing, in addition to the new interface FIRST, then move onto the others.
