1. Don’t give a prorated refund on your $545 dollar parking pass (2 months left — that’s 17% of my cash wasted — great job GT parking)

2. Try to charge an extra month of rent and a “late fee” for supposedly not paying rent (it’s a good thing we file all of our paperwork, huh?)

3. Get random CEO to beg for money at graduation (although he was amusing, I’ll admit)

4. Put your undergrads in disgusting 4-person apartments that look like they were dumpsters, at some point

5. Use the cheapest possible cabinets and waste space in small apartments at the family apartments (so cheap, the damned drawers literally fall apart)

6. Have the god forsaken fire alarm go off 8 times over a 36 hour period and dozens of over times over a 2 year period

7. Do nothing to the disgusting fools on my hall who liked to smoke in their room and make the hall smell like burnt garbage

8. Charge me for scuffs on the floor when I move out even though the crappy liminate floor is practically made of plastic grocery [don't know how the i got into "grociery" but that's alright -- I'll proof read from here on out] store bags and the scuffs were normal wear and tear from a fricken chair

9. Ignore THREE maintenance requests in a row

GT needs to make some changes to its housing and parking departments.

Wow.  It’s been a very stressful week.  Our mortgage co. had a difficult time verifying my employment (basically, they wanted my employer’s number on some sort of public directory — sort of silly for a web company), which almost broke the deal on the house.  Thankfully, my boss Jeff came through and found a work around for the mess, meaning we were able to buy the house and move in.   The weekend flew by as we were incredibly busy (and still are) due to moving, unpacking, trips all over the place to get this and that forgotten item from random store -r- us, etc.  Then, the cable/internet wasn’t setup, so we had to wait until they came out today, only to find they couldn’t run the outlet and want us to hire an electrician instead, so I’m going to deal with that Friday…etc.  It’s just been hectic all around.

Thankfully, my parents, younger sister, and two of our very good friends (Drew and Mandy) helped us haul our stuff over to our new house.  I don’t think we would have been able to do it without them, given the situation with my hernia (I was fine loading up the truck but about half way unto unloading, I was having some pain/discomfort so I took that as a sign that I should stop lifting heavy objects.

Anyway, all’s well and we’re almost unpacked — we just need to pickup a few small things, put together a desk so I can work, etc., from home, wait on the washer and dryer to be delivered, etc.
