So you install Leopard and want to put that 2TB NAS of yours to good use but you can’t get Time Machine to see your file shares? Simply open a terminal, paste the following command into it:
defaults write com.apple.systempreferences TMShowUnsupportedNetworkVolumes 1
Then mount the share you want to use and open up Time Machine to set it up.
