1) Let me use bluetooth to its full extent (share the edge connection w/ my laptop, file transfer, etc.)

2) Native iChat with AIM/Yahoo/Gtalk support — alert me like you do with email upon msg

3) Let me record video with the camera

4) Better email client, let me set the home screen to my accounts screen instead of defaulting to where ever I was last, better support for viewing attachments, etc.

5) Browser add-ins (flash, java), streaming music so I can listen to internet radio

Infrant “merges” with Netgear

I received an email from the president and founder of Infrant Technologies today announcing that Infrant would be “merging” with Netgear.  I want to know how this will impact my ReadyNAS NV+ and its future support — Netgear isn’t exactly open with their products so important features like SSH (promised by Infrant for some time now on the NV series) may never make it to market.  Hopefully they open up the NV+ a bit and give us that 2.6 kernel-based firmware for it.
